The following are some of the most common questions we get from members!
How do I use the Block Fitness App?

When do memberships renew?
All memberships renew on the 1st of each month. If you’re starting with Block Fitness on any day other than the 1st, your first month will be prorated.
Booking for your sessions will open up after billing for the following month.
I can’t seem to book or reserve a spot?
This could be 1 of 3 things.
1) If it’s for a date later than the 1st and your monthly membership payment hasn’t run, you will not be able to book until the 1st (same for everyone)
2) The session is full – place yourself on the waitlist if you’re unable to attend another session
3) The CC we have on file needs to be updated
Do I have to pay extra for 5-week months?
No. You get bonus sessions these 3-months out of the year.
How early do I need to cancel my session?
Group Classes and Semi-Private: We request 24-hours for your fellow members to have an opportunity to reserve the spot you opened. No charge is occurred for canceling a session. You do not lose your session, nor does a deduction from package happen unless it is a No-Show. (See No-Show Policy for details).
Private Training (Solo-Fit): A minimum 24-hour cancelation is required. A charge of $40 for one-hour sessions or $25 for 30-Minute sessions will be applied for late cancelation.
What is the NO-SHOW Policy?
Oops! You missed a session and forget to cancel. This is called a “No-Show.”
A No-Show is when you are unable to cancel your session within the 60-minutes before session start time and/or miss the session completely. This removes the session from your total package as if you had attended. This session cannot be made up.
The second time this happens, we remove that session from your package for the month and it cannot be made up later in the month.
The third time, there will be a $25 charge to your card on file. This is to cover the cost of our coaching staff that we bring in to ensure our semi-private ratio of 1-5.
Why is this important? Every time a spot is reserved, it takes away the opportunity for another member to reserve that spot. To “no-show” means you could be taking away the one opportunity someone had to attend a session that day. We all want to have the best opportunities to train when ideal for all of us. It is a way to be courteous to your fellow members and your Coaches.
I missed a session, does it roll over?
You can use your sessions all within the paid months time frame. If you are on a 2x a week CustomFit package and need to do 4-sessions one week, you may, as long as they are within the given month.
Sessions do not roll over into the next month.
Can I pro-rate my month for vacation or credit for illness?
No. Pricing has been calculated based on 48-weeks of the year instead of 52, which leaves space for vacation, illness, etc. They are already discounted to account for such circumstances.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. A Membership Request Change must be completed and approved before the 15th of the month, which allows you to pause the following month.
(e.g. Form submitted on September 12th, would pause the month of October. A form submitted on September 17th, would not be able to pause October, but would be able to pause November).
A one-month pause is allotted once per calendar year. A monthly holding charge will be applied for qualifying cases beyond one month.

Billing is not pro-rated for partial months usage. Per Membership Agreement, Block Fitness does not offer credits or refunds for unused sessions.
